Located in Laconia, Greece, near the fertile plain of Skala and the ancient city of Elos, lies the village Grammousa.
There are the headquarters of the Agricultural Cooperative ELIOS, which was founded in 2007, and in 2018 was recognised as Producers Organization and named after General Elio, who according to Pausanias, was the founder of the ancient city of Elos.
Elios is compiled of 25 producers and adopts modern farming methods applying the principles of integrated production management. The producers have achieved to make their products popular all over Greece, in a short time.
